On visiting our church for Sunday morning worship it will be familiar and similar to many non-conformist churches you may have visited for example Methodist, Baptist, United Reformed Church. We pray, sing hymns, read the bible and listen to the sermon, plus we like a chat with each other at the beginning and end. The service usually last about an hour and all are welcome.

First Sunday of the month we share communion at the end of the morning service, and all who love the Lord Jesus are invited to stay. Third Sunday we have a breakfast before the service, which is a great chance for newcomers to get to know us before committing to a service. Fourth Sunday we meet early for a time of prayer before the service where we are invited to contribute our own prayers as we feel moved (see church diary).

Every couple of months we have a church meeting usually led by the Church Secretary which opens with prayers, asking for God’s guidance and encouraging us to listen as well and speak, but we are all equal and we each have a vote as members on how the church is run to serve Jesus.

Several organisations use the church hall to meet, ranging from the Explorers to the Girl Guides. We are pleased when they join us at the parade Sundays we hold during major festivals through the year. 

We have wheel chair access by the rear door, a loop system to help those who need help with hearing, and larger print hymn books for those who need it
